Ok so I’m a touch slow these days, I’m just now discovering the “About” page, even though the link had been staring me in the face at the top of my clickable links >.> I plead 4 hours of sleep and a wound up kiddo at 9am? Does that count? ^.^
Anyways, for about me I am a SAHM (stay at home mother), though I could be considered a WAHM (the working version) as I’m taking in kiddos to mind during the day who are about my dear son’s age. Not on a daily basis, but enough that the kiddos enjoy the time like play-dates. I’m making preparations to move from the east-coast back home to Ontario come summer of 2008, so my son can be in a healthy place with healthy parents, maybe even go to public school if things work out well.
I’m a musical soul underneath all of the anger and pain you’ll probably read within this blog, and an artist. A gamer geek through and through, and raising my son to be the same (my dk has two geeks for parents, the child doesn’t have a chance in escaping the call of the Dice ^.^)
I’ve run games in the past, old WoD till I die btw (suck it nWoD addicts); fae, shifters, mage, and Techocracy being my personal favorites (go Union boys ^.^). Some online, others TT or Larp, its a great unstress hobby if you can tune out the obsessive players and the evil farking politics that tend to develop. I’m on a break from running currently though, enjoying spending time being just a player for a bit while my afk life is in chaos.
This point for me is a bit of a rediscovery and personal-reinvention, at this time anyway. As always when life hands us a mountain of change and upheaval it changes us in ways we don’t expect, and I’m in the middle of figuring out the person I’ve become while the dust settles. Hopefully I can put something a little more enlightening once things become a bit more stabilized, instead of just presenting myself as “that crazy gamer chick with domestic issues” heehee
